Ding Ding.
I answered the door. The joy I felt when I saw the postman holding a package was unexplainable. The box read “Chalk is Free” and contained the t-shirts that I had been waiting so long for. After signing the bill, I ran to my room to open the package. Inside I found the 3 pool t-shirts that I won. A red one, a blue one, and a yellow one. A little video I made for the Chalk Is Free 2011 Pool T-shirt Designs. I created it in Adobe After Effects, a really great program for compositing graphics. You may have heard of Adobes other popular programs Photoshop and Illustrator (which were used to create the t-shirt designs).
I used the youtube audio swap feature to add in the soundtrack to avoid and copyright issues. I would have liked to use the Foo Fighters song “Walk”.
Pool has always been a passion of mine and now I can combine it with another love mine, graphic design. I don’t see selling pool t-shirts as a way of making it rich, but just a way to provide a different view on billiard t-shirts. There are a lot of great 8 ball pool t-shirts out there i hope you like mine.
